Marisa writes about design, technology, real estate, travel, and whatever else comes her way. She's currently a contributing writer to The Spruce and her writing has been featured in interior design outlets like Elle Decor and Good Housekeeping and real estate publications like The Real Deal and RISMedia.
Marisa is the former copywriter for Chairish and has previously worked with interior design brands like One Kings Lane and clé tile. She has also worked in-house with fitness brands NordicTrack and iFIT, where her work appeared across copy and video campaigns for professional sports teams such as the Los Angeles Chargers and the Utah Jazz, as well as brands like Sweat.
Most recently, she served as senior copywriter for the B2B real estate software company SkySlope. In addition to leading in-house copy efforts, she partnered with respected industry brands on acquisition campaigns, including Sellers Shield, Utility Connect, and RealSatisfied.
Marisa graduated from San Francisco State University with a bachelor's degree in creative writing. (And, for the record, she will still go to impressive lengths to secure fish tacos in the City by the Bay whenever possible....) She hates driving (a lingering side effect of her years in SF), but has an enduring affection for maps and plotting road trips she will almost certainly never take. She currently lives in Omaha, Nebraska, with her Australian Shepherd, Tallulah (Tule for short), and her very lucky black cat, Reno.
